Who we are » Staff/Volunteers
Shannon Shoup, Program Officer email@example.com
Shannon manages all aspects of the GBC certification program including standards review and compliance. Her interest in green burial came about through her volunteer hospice work and her research into affordable and meaningful options for families. The simplicity of green burial coupled with the opportunity it provides to preserve land and connect us with the natural world is what motivated Shannon to join the GBC. Shannon has over a decade of regulatory experience in the biotechnology industry and holds a B.S. in Cellular Biology and M. S. in Regulatory Science.

Samuel Perry, Funeral Home Compliance and Education firstname.lastname@example.org
Sam Perry is a licensed funeral director in Indiana with a passion for gardening. He became interested in the funeral industry after being the groundskeeper for his local funeral home.
